Elizabeth Hatchett
Designer, Illustrator
Elizabeth sees the design process much like she sees the challenge of giving that perfect gift to a friend, that treasure that shows you’ve been listening and understanding them, that something that connects with their heart and their story. She gets a kick out of listening well to folks engaged in meaningful work along with the community they serve and then representing that work with design and illustration infused with sensitivity and connection.
In addition to her design pursuits, you can find Elizabeth in her art studio mixing up oil paints or looking for inspiration in thrift stores or on urban hikes. Most recently, she fixed up a 100+ year old house with her handyman engineering husband, Sam. Most everything she does finds a way to fuel her creativity.
Her design and art work have been honored with numerous accolades during and after her academic career. Upon graduation Elizabeth was awarded a traveling grant that she used to teach art at a clinic for homeless natives in India. She’s also recently had the privilege of co-founding a nonprofit arts organization for at risk youth, the St. Elizabeth Art’s Foundation (namesake purely coincidental) in her Cincinnati neighborhood.
With degrees in both design communications and painting, ten years of professional experience, and a lifetime of making things, she brings a world of resources and creativity to each and every project.
